Shannon Ratliff serves as Senior Strategist at the Design Institute for Health, a radical collaboration between Dell Medical School and the College of Fine Arts at The University of Texas at Austin.
An experienced strategist, presenter, and facilitator, Shannon conducts strategic research and translates that research into new insights and perspectives that inform design solutions.
Broad experience including law, advocacy, public policy, strategy for social sector and mission-driven organizations, and health philanthropy have equipped him with many different frames for analyzing complex systems to deliver new insights.
Shannon joins the Design Institute in a consulting role from Policy+Design Partners, a strategy and public affairs consultancy that he founded in 2009. With experience both as an advocate and as a designer of public policy solutions, he brings an understanding of the human and system-level dimensions of solving for complex public issues.
Shannon graduated from Haverford College with a B.A. in Philosophy earning departmental honors and received a J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law.
